I recently got a PC for Christmas, and it worked perfectly for the first three months. However, it now crashes every time I try to play a game and sometimes fails to load, displaying a DirectX error. I'm really hoping for some help with this issue, as it would mean a lot to me. Thanks!

Have you tried reinstalling the driver using the AMD Adrenaline software? That could help reset things. Also, what exactly does the error say?

OK, I'll give that a shot!

Make sure your HDMI or DisplayPort cable is connected to the GPU and not the motherboard. You could be unintentionally using the integrated graphics. The cable should go into the horizontal port, not the vertical one.

If you're using an Nvidia graphics card, try downloading the Nvidia app and updating your game-ready driver. It might solve your problem. If you've already done that, consider doing a clean reinstallation of the driver from the same app.
