Help! My PC Keeps Freezing and Won’t Boot to Windows

I've built my computer about 8 months ago, and everything was running smoothly for the first few months. Recently, though, I've been experiencing random freezes that require a hard reboot. Just yesterday, it stopped booting to Windows altogether — it freezes on the loading screen, and I keep getting the blue screen of death with errors like CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT and INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE. I've tried resetting my PC and reinstalling Windows, but that hasn't worked. I'm not sure what else to do besides possibly taking it to a pro. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

It sounds like you might have an issue with your boot drive. The errors you're getting are often related to either a faulty drive or a corrupted Windows installation. I suggest doing a clean install of Windows from a USB drive, making sure to delete all partitions on your system disk during the process. You can find guides online — here’s one on how to create a bootable USB and install Windows. Also, check that your motherboard has the latest BIOS since your CPU belongs to a generation known for some issues.

Definitely check those dump files for more insight into what's causing the BSODs. If you can get into Windows or Safe Mode, look in the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any crash logs. If you find any, zip them up and share via a file hosting site. It’s best to have multiple dump files, so if you only have one, follow a guide to adjust your settings to generate more. These logs can provide valuable clues for diagnosing your issue.

I had a similar issue with my PC recently. Trying a BIOS update can be helpful, especially if you're facing those specific error codes. Just make sure you follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. If your system continues to give you issues after the BIOS update, it might be time to consider checking your hardware for any faults.
