Help! My PC keeps showing a black screen, what could be the issue?

I'm having a frustrating problem with my PC where it keeps flickering to a black screen and then coming back on. I've looked into it and it doesn't seem to be a driver issue. I even replaced my HDMI cable with a 2.1 version, but that didn't solve the problem. I tested my PC using my friend's monitor, but the issue persists. In fact, I went as far as getting a new PC, and the same black screen problem still occurs. I'm starting to think it might be related to a power or electrical issue, but I'm not really sure what to do next.

Have you considered testing your PC at your friend's place? If you've already tried two different PCs in your house and the problem remains, then the issue likely isn’t with the PCs themselves. Trying it in a different room or on another circuit could also help.

That’s a good point! A drop in power could lead to Windows crashing, but considering you switched cables, it seems more like a GPU issue, possibly a faulty power supply connector. If this is happening on both your monitor and your friend's, we might need to reevaluate all the info you've shared or even consider you've got some strange interference going on.
