Hi there! I'm pretty clueless when it comes to my PC, which is a Samsung running Windows. I was in the middle of playing The Sims when my computer unexpectedly shut off without any warning. Now, when I try to power it back on, nothing happens. I've already unplugged and replugged the power cable and the one going to the computer, but that didn't help. It doesn't seem overheated because it feels fine. I even disconnected it from the wall outlet and plugged it back in, still nothing. I briefly opened the case but don't want to mess with anything since I might break it, and everything looks like it's connected as far as I can see. I'd appreciate any advice you can give me, especially since I haven't saved my Sims game in a while!

Make sure you're checking the power supply; that's often the main culprit for issues like this. But diagnosing sudden shutdowns can be tricky, especially if you're not tech-savvy. It might be best to take it to a technician for a proper check-up.
Have you tried unplugging and replugging your monitor's power lead and the cable connecting it to your PC? I’ve found sometimes that can help identify issues. If your monitor shows 'check signal cable' when unplugged from the PC, and the blue light is on but the screen is still black when connected, it seems more likely that the problem is with your PC.

Yes, I did that! The monitor isn’t working properly, which is worrying me more about the PC.
