Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a bind here. I just built a PC using an AMD Ryzen 9950X3D processor, paired with an X870E Master motherboard and Dominator Titanium RAM running at 6600MHz. I've got a Lian Li HydroShift 360 cooler for cooling. The system runs smoothly at idle and passes all stability tests, but it keeps freezing while I'm gaming. I tried tuning the RAM down to 6000MHz, and switched to G.Skill 6400MHz, but I'm still facing the same issues. I managed to play for about 30 minutes after tuning to 6000MHz, but then it froze again. Since I'm pretty new to PC building, I've spent the whole day Googling and trying things out. Any advice before I consider selling it? Thanks in advance!

First off, try running Memtest86 to check if your RAM is working correctly. It's crucial because everything can seem fine at idle but still fail under load. Also, keep an eye on your temperatures while gaming. Just because it works fine while idle doesn't mean you're all set for gaming. Also, it's worth noting that getting a 9950X3D for gaming alone might not be the best idea since the 9800X3D does nearly the same job for less. If you're more into gaming, that could be a consideration for the future!
Memtest returned zero errors. I went with the 9950X3D because I wanted to stream while gaming too, but I didn’t expect to hit this wall. Rookie mistake, huh?
