I've just built a new PC with a 5060ti GPU and an i5 14400F processor. Everything works fine with just one monitor plugged in, but as soon as I connect a second monitor (even if the cable is just inserted into the PC and not the monitor), everything goes black. The monitors functioned well with my old setup, so I don't think it's a monitor issue. After about 10-15 minutes, the mouse glitches, one monitor loses signal, and my main monitor flickers before going completely black. I have to restart the PC each time. This happens whether I'm idle or gaming, and I still get audio from apps like Discord even when the screen is off. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Nvidia drivers, using the Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B command, and rearranging the cables (DP and HDMI) without any success. My CPU and GPU temperatures are stable, and I've followed various troubleshooting guides. Any ideas?

Don’t forget to check your display settings! Use WIN + P to select the right output mode for dual monitors. Have you tried swapping their positions or starting from a cold boot after making changes?
It sounds like you might have a bad cable or a loose GPU. If the screen goes black when you plug in the cable, try checking if the GPU is seated properly. Make sure you’re only using the ports on your GPU and not the motherboard. Power down your system, secure the GPU, connect the monitors, and then boot it up to see if that resolves the issue.
Make sure you've manually installed all the motherboard drivers. Sometimes, outdated or missing drivers can cause weird display issues, especially with multiple monitors.
Have you checked if dual monitor settings are enabled? Sometimes simply changing the order of your monitors or resetting the display settings can help. Just remember to do it after a full system restart.
It seems like connecting peripherals while the PC is running could be causing problems. Shut down your computer completely, connect both monitors before booting up, and see if that makes a difference.
