I recently did a cloud reinstall of Windows 11 on my HP Omen desktop, wiping everything clean. However, I'm now facing some strange issues. Some websites show an 'access denied' message with a link directing me to Microsoft's support. This didn't happen during previous reinstalls, and I've done a full wipe this time as well. I've restarted and tried reinstalling again, but there's been no improvement. I don't have a VPN or any unusual DNS settings, plus I haven't modified any configurations. Basically, my PC feels like a very expensive brick at the moment. I would really appreciate any guidance since I'm feeling stuck. Just to add, sometimes websites load but quickly revert to the 'access denied' message.

It sounds like a frustrating situation! If you're getting 'access denied' errors, it might be worth checking your network settings or firewall configuration. Sometimes after a reinstall, default settings can catch you off guard. You could also try resetting your network configuration with the command prompt. Just type 'netsh int ip reset' and 'netsh winsock reset' to see if that clears up any issues. Good luck!
When you say 'everything wiped', did you make sure to fully wipe the drive? Sometimes just doing a standard reset doesn’t completely clear everything. You might want to consider doing a full clean install if you can find a USB drive later on. They're not too expensive, and that could solve your issues. But until then, checking your settings and drivers might help too!
I get what you're saying, but I truly did remove all settings and files. Just used the cloud method without a USB, which was my only option at the time.

Thanks for the tips! I’ll give those commands a try to reset things.
