Help Needed: Struggling with Snap Store Installation on Lubuntu

I'm trying to install the Snap Store on my Lubuntu system, but after finishing the installation, I just get stuck at some commands (which I've linked to in the photos). I've been waiting for at least two hours, and nothing seems to be happening. Should I restart my computer, keep waiting, or is there something else I should try? My PC is a Lenovo G505 with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a 500GB hard drive, but I'm not entirely sure what kind of CPU or GPU I have. After all that waiting, I now see an error message. What should be my next steps?

It sounds like your older system might be slowing things down a bit. It's possible that the install is just taking longer than expected. If the commands are related to Snap, not `apt`, just aborting the process with Ctrl-C won’t break anything critical, so don’t panic about that. Restarting could also be an option if it’s really stuck!

Thanks for the reassurance! I think I'll wait a bit longer and see if anything changes.

Actually, Snap is usually pre-installed on most Ubuntu flavors, but it might not be on Lubuntu depending on how you set it up. If you skipped internet connection during setup, that could explain why you can't find it. Just make sure to check your install and maybe try connecting again, if you can.

Got it! I didn't realize that could affect it. Thanks for the tip!
