Help! Windows 11 Upgrade Troubles After BIOS Update

I've been trying to upgrade to Windows 11 but ran into some serious issues after updating my BIOS. I discovered that two of my RAM sticks were faulty, but I managed to get my system running again with the other two sticks. However, now I'm stuck with errors regarding missing or corrupt update files while attempting to use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant. Specifically, I'm seeing error codes 0x80070003 and 0x40008. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I even compiled a setup log Zip folder that I can share for troubleshooting.

I hate to say it, but if you're facing errors while updating, you might be looking at more issues down the line, even after the upgrade. Clean installs usually work better in my experience. Remember to back up your important files first! Here's a tutorial on how to create installation media and set up Windows 11 if you decide to go that route!

If you're having issues, I suggest doing the upgrade with the ISO instead of through the Installation Assistant. If that doesn't work for you, a clean install might be your best bet. You could also consider switching to Linux Mint if you're looking for alternatives!

I tried using the ISO method before and it worked like a charm. Definitely worth a shot!

Upgrading to Windows 11 can definitely be messy sometimes. Before anything, make sure you've backed up all your data! I recommend doing a fresh clean install instead of upgrading, especially since you might need to ensure your system is set up with UEFI/GPT partitions and secure boot. That's often required for Windows 11 anyway.
