I'm having a frustrating issue with AWS Bedrock where it throws a validation exception stating 'operation not allowed' when I try to use a model in the playground. I initially thought it was due to being a root user, so I created an IAM account and assigned specific permissions, but I'm still facing the same problem. I even tried spinning up an EC2 instance to see if that would help, but no luck there either. I'm in the midst of migrating from Azure and it's been tough to get support; my case number is still unassigned since my last post. I feel like I've exhausted all options on my end. Does anyone know if this issue can only be resolved through support, or is there something else I might be able to try myself?

I totally get your frustration! It sounds like you've already tried a lot. Sometimes, account bans or restrictions can happen without you knowing, especially if you recently got credits. If the support team isn't responsive, I'd check that your IAM permissions are set correctly. However, there might be cases where only they can lift certain restrictions.
Hey, I've seen similar issues before. First off, make sure your account isn't too new because that can sometimes trigger limitations. I wouldn't recommend using a root user either for everyday tasks—it's generally risky. According to AWS documentation, there are several reasons for this error. You could try sending a direct request using an SDK to see if it reveals more detail about the error you're encountering.
