Help with BIOS Update for TPM 2.0 Error

I'm trying to play Call of Duty and I'm getting prompted for a BIOS firmware update. I'm using an AMD Ryzen 5950 with an ASROCK Phantom B550 ATX motherboard. I've already attempted every troubleshooting option I could think of. When I try to use the Instant Flash feature in the BIOS, it keeps showing an error saying 'No Image File Detected'. I've tried using both a USB 3.0 and a 2.0 flash drive, and I've formatted them to FAT32. I also renamed the BIOS update files as needed. If anyone has advice on how to resolve this issue, I'd really appreciate it!

I honestly wasn't aware that games could notify you about BIOS or UEFI upgrades. That's interesting!

Make sure your USB drive actually shows up in the BIOS flash tool. If it doesn't, try connecting it to a different USB port, preferably one at the back of the motherboard. Also, remember to extract the files properly, using something like WinRAR or 7-Zip, and only place the .rom file on the USB drive. If you didn’t mention which BIOS version you have, consider trying a different version if you’re still stuck!

I've tried plugging it into every USB port available.

It sounds like you might want to double-check the file type and the folder structure on the USB.

If the BIOS update isn't being detected, it could be due to a few reasons. Here are some possibilities:

- The BIOS image isn't in the right folder on the USB.
- You might've downloaded the wrong BIOS file altogether.
- Sometimes, the files aren’t copied properly to the USB; they could still be on your hard drive instead.
- Ensure that the USB is connected to a compatible port as mentioned in your motherboard's manual.

And don't forget to backup your original BIOS file before making any updates!
