Help with Intel AC 9260 Not Connecting to Wi-Fi 6GHz Network

I've been dealing with a major issue since a recent Windows update. My desktop, which has an Intel AC 9260 network card, can no longer connect to my Wi-Fi 6GHz MLO enabled network. I've tried all the usual fixes - updating drivers, doing BIOS updates, and even clearing Wi-Fi profiles. Interestingly, it still connects fine to my guest and IoT networks, which don't support 6GHz or MLO. It seems like this could be a compatibility issue stemming from the latest Windows update. I'm looking for some advanced troubleshooting tips to get to the bottom of this. I've already confirmed that disabling 6GHz and MLO on the main SSID allows a connection. For context, I'm running a Ubiquiti network stack with a single U7 Pro. I'll provide any additional information you need if you ask!

I get where you're coming from. The Intel AC 9260 supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz, but you're right that Wi-Fi 7 brings in that additional 6GHz band. It's possible that your system is having a hard time negotiating the connection with the 6GHz network after the update. It worked for you for a while, so there may have been a glitch introduced with Windows. Sometimes a clean install of the drivers helps, so that could be worth a shot.

It sounds like you're facing a tricky situation! Since everything was working fine before the update, it's definitely worth considering whether the new update might have caused some compatibility issues. Sometimes, rollback on updates can fix these problems. You might also want to check Intel's website for any specific drivers for the AC 9260 that address this issue or look for others encountering similar problems after the update.
