I'm in the process of building my own computer and I noticed something unusual while watching a YouTube tutorial. My computer case, the Balamrush Nyx GI730, came with three fans, but one of them includes a SATA cable that wasn't mentioned in the video. The other two fans have cables intended for the motherboard, but they also feature daisy chain options. I shared an image for reference here: https://imgur.com/a/EmzzOqg. Can someone explain the purpose of the SATA cable and how I should set this up?

It sounds like the SATA cable is likely there to provide power for any RGB lighting on that fan. So you're probably looking at powering the lights rather than the fan itself.
You’ll want to connect the SATA cable to a power source. You can plug the reset button into the two specific pins on your motherboard, which will let you use the reset button to cycle through the LED modes. If you wish to control addressable RGB fans directly from the motherboard, though, you’ll need to make sure they are 5V aRGB fans.
Yes, that should still work! The reset button functionality for changing the LED modes will still apply.

I actually plugged the reset switch into the motherboard already, but I have a second reset switch connected to the 'RGB' button on the case. Will that still work with your suggestion?
