I'm really struggling to get my triple monitor setup working. Four days ago, I asked for advice, and following the suggestions, I picked up a 1050ti to support three monitors. I also bought an active DVI to DisplayPort adapter to utilize all the GPU slots. However, I'm still having no luck getting it to work. We're using a StarTech DP2DVIS adapter, and unfortunately, we can't use the motherboard's DisplayPort slots because my Z240 disables those slots when a GPU is installed. I'm at my wits' end—can anyone help me figure this out?

I did some digging and it looks like the 1050ti may not provide enough power through its DisplayPort to drive the active DVI-D adapter. You might need an active adapter that connects to USB for power. This could solve your signal issue. I've found some links that might help troubleshoot if you want to check those out: [Tom's Hardware Discussion](https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/dp-to-dvi-not-working-but-dp-to-dp-working.3715410/#post-22439284) and [Nvidia Forum Post](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/geforce-graphics-cards/5/467611/1050-ti-and-3-monitors/).

I think you might be onto something. I tested a direct DVI to DVI connection with an old monitor, and it worked fine, which leads me to believe the issue is definitely with the adapter.
