Help with SSD and HDD Setup Issues

I've been using Nobara on my own PC with an SSD, and everything works without a hitch. Recently, I helped a friend set it up on his PC, which has both an SSD and an HDD. During the installation, we chose to delete and partition everything, but the HDD remained untouched. I managed to partition it manually, but had to 'unlock' it first. Now, after installing Terraria and playing for a bit, my friend rebooted his PC, and suddenly, Terraria wouldn't launch. We discovered that we had to manually unlock the HDD again in the file manager, and even after reinstalling, the game couldn't find any of the saved files, which are located in `.local/share/terraria`. So, I'm looking for help on two things: 1. How can we fix this issue? 2. How do we configure the HDD to always mount automatically on every reboot without needing to unlock it? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like the HDD isn't mounted properly or there might be permission issues. Can you clarify what you mean by 'unlock'? Are your games installed on the same drive as the system? That could cause some confusion.

Yes, everything is on the same drive. I looked into it more, but I'm not sure how to actually mount it. I found a bunch of different methods and now I'm a bit lost.
