Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with port forwarding on my Xfinity modem for my Xbox. I tried setting up a port forward, but it doesn't show up on the list. When I attempt to add the ports I need, I'm getting a message that they are already in use by another port forward, even though nothing is currently active. I've attempted to create a new port forward, deleted it, and rebooted the modem a few times, plus I reinstalled the app on my phone. This is all because I'm facing a NAT type unavailable issue on my Xbox, which I can't seem to resolve. Any advice?

Have you checked if any other port might be in use? Sometimes reserved ports can cause issues like this. Make sure there aren't any configurations left over from previous setups that could be conflicting with yours.
I don't have any port forwards set up. This was meant to be my first one, but something went wrong, and now it seems like it's stuck. When I try again, it tells me the ports are in use, which is pretty frustrating.
You might want to check if UPnP is enabled on your router. UPnP lets devices like your Xbox automatically set up port forwarding without you having to do it manually. It's possible that your Xbox or another device already created a rule for the ports you're trying to use.
