I recently picked up a great deal on a new PC that features a 9070 XT graphics card, a 7500X3D CPU, and a 2TB NVMe SSD. The build was listed with 32GB of 6000MHz RAM, so I was expecting it to be around CL30 or CL40. However, after checking with CPU-Z, I discovered that it's actually a 6000MHz RAM with a CL48 rating. I've already played some games on it, and performance seems decent. But I've read that latency at this level (16 nanoseconds) might be a drawback. Since I have an X3D CPU, does this mean it's not as big of an issue? Is my RAM setup really that problematic?

Any small difference is minimal, like maybe 1-2% in frame rates across different games. Plus, with the X3D chip, it’s less likely to be a bottleneck. You’re fine, bro!
Couldn’t agree more! RAM is RAM these days, and if your games are running fine, don’t overthink it.
Honestly, it’s not a major problem. While your RAM timings are higher than ideal, especially with gaming builds, the prices of RAM right now mean you're likely fine with what you have. If your games are running well, just enjoy them instead of worrying about the numbers!
Don’t fret! In today’s market, almost any RAM is hard to come by. So unless you’re doing high-performance work, you shouldn’t see a noticeable difference in everyday use. Just enjoy your new machine!
You're good to go! The X3D CPU is less sensitive to RAM timings than other types, so your setup should still perform well even with the higher CL rating. If games feel smooth, just have fun and don’t sweat the details!
Exactly! Just focus on your gaming experience. If the frame rates are fine and the system is stable, you’re golden!
Right? As long as everything’s running well, don’t let the specs get to you. It’s about having a good time!
Sure, CL48 is slower than CL30 and might have some impact on benchmarking, but practically, you’re unlikely to notice in everyday gaming. The difference in speed is so minimal that unless you’re obsessively chasing benchmark numbers, it shouldn’t really affect your experience. Just keep gaming!
Totally true. Gearheads get too caught up in the numbers while the real enjoyment is just playing the games, right?
Exactly! I upgraded my rig recently and couldn't feel a difference after switching my RAM, even though the timing improved. Play your games and stop stressing over the stats!

Yeah, totally! As long as it’s working without issues, just keep gaming. The extra latency isn't going to ruin your experience.
