How Can I Boost My Gaming Performance with My Current Setup?

Hey everyone! I'm currently experiencing some performance issues in games. Specifically, I'm getting around 100-150 FPS in CS2 depending on the map, and about 60-80 FPS in Rust depending on the server and its popularity. Interestingly, a couple of months ago, I was using a GTX 1650 and was able to achieve similar FPS, sometimes even better in Rust, compared to my current RTX 3050 setup.

Here are my specs:
- GPU: RTX 3050 OEM
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 4500
- RAM: 16GB Kingston Fury DDR4
- Storage: 500GB MM2 SSD
- Motherboard: AsRock A320M-HDV

I'm considering upgrading my CPU since I've read that it could potentially help boost performance, but I'm unsure which model to choose, especially with concerns about bottlenecks. I'd appreciate any recommendations that would allow me to improve performance without needing to swap out my graphics card. Thanks!

First off, have you checked if all your drivers, especially the CPU chipset and BIOS, are up to date? That can have a big impact. I know someone with an older Intel 6-core who manages to get 200 FPS on CS2, so there’s definitely potential for improvement here!

I updated my BIOS just last week and tried downloading an app for my CPU, but I can't get it to open. Do you have any advice on how to resolve this or suggestions for other drivers for the AMD Ryzen 5 4500?
