I'm trying to clone my current 256GB boot drive to a new 2TB drive. What's the best method to accomplish this? Any suggestions or software recommendations would be appreciated!

Honestly, I think a fresh Windows installation on the new drive might be the simplest solution. You could just plug the new drive in while keeping the old one for backup.

That’s a valid point! I have multiple drives too, but I feel like stuff keeps saving to C: anyway, no matter what.

I’ve also done that. Having a separate boot drive is really a good setup.

If you want a clean start, back up your important data from the C: drive, wipe it, and then install Windows on the new drive!

I’ve had great success using Macrium Reflect Free for cloning drives. It’s user-friendly and has worked flawlessly for me in the past.

Sounds good! I've heard a lot about it. Thank you!
