How Can I Compare Grocery Prices from Different Supermarkets Online?

I'm curious about whether it's possible to create a website that can compare grocery prices from various supermarket and online store websites. I've started by making an Excel sheet with some products, but there are so many more out there that updating it manually would be a nightmare. I don't have experience building websites, but I'm willing to learn if this project is feasible.

In my area, supermarkets don’t always list prices on their websites. It might be a good idea to gather price data directly from customers instead. Users could share their recent shopping receipts, maybe even by uploading pictures, to help keep track of prices.

That sounds interesting! Where are you located? Most major supermarkets around here do have online stores. I wanted to create this tool mainly to save on my grocery bills after seeing some big price differences while using Excel. I know the in-store prices can differ from online ones, but since I mostly order online, comparing those prices would really help.
