How can I completely remove an app’s data from my iPhone 12 Pro Max?

I'm having trouble with the Sam's Club app and want to remove everything associated with it before reinstalling it. I've deleted and reinstalled the app several times, cleared Safari history and website data, and removed what I believe is the cached information, but the app still seems to remember part of the previous setup. Is there another place on the phone—such as saved passwords, browser data, or account information—where the app's remaining data might be stored?

When an app seems to come back partially configured after reinstalling, check more than just the app itself. Look in the Passwords app for saved Sam’s Club credentials, and check Safari or any other browsers you use for related website data and cookies. However, information tied to an account is usually stored on the company’s servers, so deleting the app may not remove that account history.

I eventually found the cause after speaking with several support representatives. An old email address connected to my wife’s membership from years ago was still being recognized, which prevented the new account from processing correctly. Support removed that old email from the membership, and the app immediately worked with the new membership. The issue wasn’t leftover phone data after all—it was an old account record.
