I recently installed Fortnite because my ex-boyfriend and friends convinced me to, but now I need to free up space on my disk for my university work. I've already uninstalled Fortnite through the Epic Games launcher, but my available disk space hasn't changed. I also downloaded Overwatch to play with my friends, but I still have major space issues. I thought uninstalling these games would help, but it seems like I still don't have enough storage. Can anyone help me figure out how to completely remove the files from my hard drive? Also, if there are tips for clearing up additional space, I'd really appreciate that!

To make sure the games are completely uninstalled, press the Windows key, search for "uninstall a program," and find Fortnite and Overwatch there. Once you uninstall them, restart your computer—this often helps refresh the disk space. It should give you the space you need after that!
Keep in mind that Overwatch takes up about 50 GB, so it’s crucial to check if the games are really removed. Besides uninstalling, you can try "disk cleanup" by searching for it in Windows, which helps remove unnecessary files. If you're still short on space after that, you might need a bigger hard drive if gaming is a big hobby for you.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely try the disk cleanup option.
