Norton 360 came preinstalled on my Windows 11 computer, but I have not been able to uninstall it after trying several times. I'm also unable to remove the Epic Games Launcher. I'm not sure whether Norton is necessary or what is preventing these programs from being removed. What is the safest way to uninstall both?

First check that your Windows account has administrator privileges. A restricted or standard account may not be allowed to uninstall some programs. For Norton, use its official Norton Remove and Reinstall tool if the regular Windows uninstall process is failing. Epic Games Launcher should normally uninstall through Settings > Apps > Installed apps, or through the classic Programs and Features panel. Avoid simply deleting the program folders, since that can leave services and registry entries behind.
If the uninstallers still fail, try restarting Windows and running the removal process again from an administrator account. Norton’s dedicated cleanup utility is the better option for a broken installation; manually deleting its files or changing system settings could cause additional problems.
