I have four monitors total: two with HDMI, one with DisplayPort, and one with DVI. My graphics card has only one HDMI port, one DisplayPort port, and one DVI port, so three monitors are currently connected. I thought the motherboard's video outputs could not be used alongside a dedicated graphics card. My CPU is an Intel Core i5-10400F. What is the best way to connect the fourth monitor as an extended display rather than mirroring, and potentially support five monitors later?

If you want five monitors, the cleanest option is usually a graphics card with more display outputs. Other possibilities include a DisplayPort MST hub or a USB graphics adapter, though USB adapters are better for office work than gaming or high-refresh video.

The i5-10400F does not have integrated graphics, so the motherboard's HDMI or DisplayPort outputs cannot be used. Those ports only work when the CPU includes an active integrated GPU.
