I'm trying to connect my JBL earbuds to my PC, but I'm having some trouble. I've managed to pair and connect them through the settings, but the sound isn't coming through. I thought I might need to disconnect my regular PC speakers, but even after doing that, there's still no audio. The sound icon in Windows shows an 'X', which I'm guessing indicates a problem. Should I just use my earbuds with a laptop instead? Any advice would be appreciated!

First off, make sure your PC actually has a Bluetooth antenna. If it doesn't, that's likely the problem right there. If it does, check if your volume is muted—if the sound icon has an 'X', click it to see if you can choose your earbuds as the output device. That might solve your issue.
If your earbuds are connected but the sound is glitchy, it could be a bandwidth issue or interference. Sometimes, PCs need to have the correct output device selected in the sound settings (the same icon with the 'X'). It’s good to check and make sure your earbuds are selected specifically. Also, try to keep other Bluetooth devices away to avoid interference.
