I have an old USB external hard drive that likely contains some old pictures, but it doesn't seem to work when connected via USB. I decided to take it apart and discovered that the hard drive uses an IDE connection. I do have some older systems with IDE ports, but the configuration on this hard drive looks different. What are my options for accessing the data?

You might want to try an IDE to USB adapter. They can help you connect the hard drive to USB ports and access your files. Here's a link to one I found: [adapter link]. Just be sure to pick one that fits your drive format!

That sounds great, but I live outside the US. Do you know if there are similar options available internationally?
