How can I debug Raptor games that keep crashing or looping forever?

I'm learning Raptor and the early exercises were manageable, but I'm now stuck on a project requiring four games: Guess the Number, Tic-Tac-Toe, Hangman, and a Battleship-style game. I have only finished Guess the Number. The other games use graphical elements and symbols such as "__ /", and my programs either crash or get trapped in infinite loops. I'm looking for a practical way to debug the flowcharts and understand where my logic is going wrong.

Raptor is a flowchart-based programming tool designed to help visualize how an algorithm runs. Treat each symbol as a small programming instruction and test one section at a time. Before building the full graphical game, make sure the input, loop condition, variable updates, and win or exit checks work with simple test values. Crashes and endless loops usually come from an uninitialized variable, an incorrect condition, or a loop variable that never gets updated.

For the infinite loops in Tic-Tac-Toe and Hangman, add a counter inside each loop. Increase it every iteration, and stop the loop with a diagnostic message when it reaches something like 1,000. Print the important variables too. That will show whether a condition is never changing, whether the wrong variable is being updated, or whether the exit condition can never become true. Once you find the faulty step, fix that specific line or flowchart branch rather than changing the whole program.
