I just signed up for Loom because I needed to watch training videos for work. They advertised it as a free service, but then it turned out to be a 14-day trial. Now I want to delete my account, but they won't let me unless I provide my credit card information. Do I really have to wait the full 14 days before I can delete it? This whole aggressive upsell tactic really annoys me!

You should definitely reach out to Loom's customer support directly. They may be able to help you with deleting your account soon. It can be frustrating to deal with these kinds of policies, but they're usually responsive to these inquiries.
Honestly, I get your frustration. Some companies really push the limits on these free trials. If you have to wait, maybe check if they have an option to limit features instead of fully deleting. Also, venting in their forums or on their LinkedIn page can sometimes get their attention!
