How can I disable annoying shortcuts on my new keyboard?

I recently got a Staples wired keyboard (model 59551-CA) and I've noticed that some of the function keys are hardwired to shortcuts like F1 being sound up and F11 launching the calculator. This is super frustrating when I want to use the regular function keys. I've heard about PowerToys, but it seems complicated, and I'm not sure how to use it. Is there a simpler way to disable these shortcuts?

You might want to check if there's a configuration utility for your keyboard that lets you change those default shortcuts back to the usual function keys. It could just take a little digging to find out who the actual manufacturer is for Staples' keyboards.

KeyboardNinja99: Yep! And if you can’t find the software, remember that holding down the Fn key while pressing those function keys might let you use them as intended. Give that a shot!
