I'm looking for a way to disable the Ctrl+Win+D keyboard shortcut that creates new virtual desktops on Windows. I keep accidentally pressing it while gaming, and it disrupts my flow. Is there a method to either remove this shortcut entirely or change it through the registry or another method? I appreciate any help!

You might want to look into disabling the Windows key on your keyboard entirely if it’s a persistent issue. Some users find it easier to deal with just avoiding the left super key. PowerToys is still a great option, but going into the registry is a deep dive and could be risky.

If you have PowerToys installed, you can remap keyboard shortcuts. Set Ctrl+Win+D to a command that effectively does nothing, and that should stop it from interrupting your gaming sessions.
