I'm trying to open the bottom panel of my laptop to upgrade the RAM and SSD, but it's proving to be a real challenge. I've been using a prying tool, but it feels stuck due to some dust buildup—this is my first time working on it, and while one corner is starting to open up, I'm looking for tips to make the process easier instead of battling with the prying tool through all this dust. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

If you're still having trouble, check under the rubber feet. Some laptops hide screws there. Also, for HP or Lenovo, you can find detailed disassembly manuals on their site that might help.
Make sure you've unscrewed all the screws! Sometimes there are hidden screws beneath labels or rubber feet that can keep the panel stuck. Double-check before you continue prying at it!
Dust itself shouldn’t really be causing much of an issue. It sounds like you might be dealing with adhesives or plastic clips that are sticking together. Getting them to loosen up can be tricky. It can be frustrating when videos make it look so easy!

Yeah, I totally understand! It looks way simpler in those videos, but age can definitely make things stickier. Good luck! You got this!
