How Can I Easily Switch Between My Monitor and TV?

I'm trying to figure out a simple way to switch between using my computer monitor and my TV. My PC is currently connected to a monitor, but I want to use the TV as a larger screen sometimes. The issue is that every time I plug in both cables to my graphics card, I have to use the Win+P shortcut to switch, which can be a hassle. Simply unplugging one of the cables isn't working for me either. What would be the best approach to make this process smoother?

The quickest way to handle this is to leave both your monitor and TV plugged into your computer. You can use the Win+P shortcut to switch between them, which is generally the fastest method. However, it sounds like sometimes that shortcut doesn't work well for you. If that's the case, consider getting an HDMI or DisplayPort switch, but keep in mind that a good one can be pricey. It's also not guaranteed to save you much time.

I get that! If Win+P glitches out, it can really be frustrating to reach for the mouse instead. Just navigating can take longer than expected.
