I'm trying to play Valorant, but it says Secure Boot needs to be enabled. My Gigabyte B460M DS3H motherboard shows a warning about CSM being loaded, and Secure Boot remains unavailable. I tried disabling CSM, restarting into the firmware settings, and attempting to enable Secure Boot again, but I'm stuck. What should I change?

Before disabling CSM, check whether Windows is installed in Legacy mode on an MBR drive. Secure Boot requires UEFI boot mode, which normally means the system drive must use GPT. In Windows, you can check this in Disk Management or System Information. If the drive is MBR, back up important files and use Microsoft’s MBR2GPT tool to convert it, if the installation meets the requirements. After conversion, boot into the firmware settings, disable CSM, select UEFI boot mode, and then enable Secure Boot.
The motherboard model helps here: the Gigabyte B460M DS3H supports Secure Boot, but the warning usually means the current Windows installation is still configured for Legacy/CSM boot. Don’t just turn CSM off without checking first, because Windows may stop booting. Confirm that the BIOS mode is UEFI and that the Windows disk is GPT before changing the setting.
