How Can I Extend My HDMI/DISPLAYPORT Cables for My Monitors?

I recently upgraded my desk space and realized that the cables for both of my monitors aren't long enough to reach my PC anymore. I'm wondering if there are any adapters or extensions that I can use to make them reach. I've seen information online that suggests I need specific cables to support the speeds of my monitors. One of my monitors runs at 144hz and 1440p, while the other one is 165hz at 1440p. Can anyone recommend compatible cables that I can purchase on Amazon?

For your setup, a regular DisplayPort 1.2a cable will work well. 1440p at 165hz isn't too demanding, so you should be fine with standard options.

If you're looking for a quick fix, just buy longer cables that are compatible with your monitors. It really doesn't get simpler than that!

Honestly, how long are you thinking of going? A standard 6ft (2m) cable should be fine for most setups. Just make sure the cables can handle the speeds you need, especially for high refresh rates.

The length isn't really the issue for me; I'm more focused on finding cables that can support the bandwidth for my monitors' refresh rates.
