How can I figure out who registered an email address?

I'm trying to find out who created a specific email address because I'm receiving disturbing and threatening messages from someone I suspect is a "friend." I'm not very tech-savvy, so any tips or guidance would be really helpful! Is there a way to see recovery emails or find out any details about the account? Thanks!

If the messages are coming from a Gmail account, try logging in and using the 'forgot password' feature. This might show you some recovery options like a partial email or phone number. You can compare that info to what you know about the person you're suspicious of.

But remember, just because they used a fake name doesn't mean it's accurate. Stay cautious!

Anyone can create an email with any name attached to it, so it's tough to get real info. Even if a name shows, it could be fake. Just stay vigilant!

If you're feeling brave, you could check out the email headers. They can sometimes reveal more information about where the message is coming from.

Honestly, just mark the email as spam and block it. It’s not worth stressing over.

Unfortunately, there's no direct way to find out who created an email address. Just block the sender and move on. It's the easiest way to deal with unwanted messages.
