I'm trying to track down a website I visited roughly a year ago on my iPhone using Safari. A friend and I used to play games there, and I recently remembered it for nostalgic reasons. I've already checked old emails, third-party account logins, search engines, my browsing history, and Google activity, but I still haven't found it. Are there other practical ways to search for an old website, or is recovering it likely to be difficult?

You could also describe everything you remember to an AI search tool: what the games were like, the site’s layout and colors, when you used it, and any words or names associated with it. It may suggest possibilities that normal keyword searches miss. Treat the suggestions as leads and verify them yourself, since it may also make inaccurate guesses.
Old bookmarks, synced Safari history, and the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine are probably the most useful options. The Wayback Machine may not have every page, but it can sometimes reveal older versions of sites or help identify a domain that has changed or disappeared. iCloud settings themselves may not show your browsing history as a simple searchable list, so check Safari on any devices still signed into the same Apple account.
