I recently had an accident with my Hisense 75U8N TV when the Ethernet cable was accidentally pulled out. Now, the port won't hold the cable properly because the clip is broken off. While my WiFi is working fine, I'd really prefer a wired connection for streaming 4K HDR content, as that can struggle with WiFi. I'm looking for any advice on how to fix or work around this issue, so I'd appreciate your insights!

Super simple fix: just tape the Ethernet cable in! Seriously, if the port is damaged, there's no point in trying to fix it. Once you tape it down, it should hold fine since Ethernet cables don't need to bear much weight. If that doesn't work for you, consider getting a smart dongle for your TV so you can use apps more easily.
It sounds like the port might be soldered directly to the motherboard, which could mean a replacement would require some serious disassembly and soldering. You could try a temporary fix by using zip ties or tape to hold the cable in place if the main problem is that it won't stay put. Sometimes, if the retention tab is just bent, you might be able to gently bend it back into position with some tools.

From the photo, it looks like the plastic on the port is cracked, so bending it won't work. You might be stuck with a broken port.
