How Can I Fix My iPad Being Unavailable After Multiple Unlock Attempts?

I'm in a bit of a bind here. My girlfriend tried to unlock my iPad a few times, and now it's showing "iPad unavailable" and won't let me enter my password anymore. It's not connected to Wi-Fi since I mainly use it to store photos, and unfortunately, I don't have a backup. I know the password, but I can't type it in now. I really don't want to lose my photos. Can anyone help?

Unfortunately, when it gets to that unavailable state, Apple doesn’t really leave much room for recovery. It's not your fault for not backing up, but those options are available, and they’re usually pretty easy to set up. You’ll likely need to restore your device, which means those precious photos might be lost unless they’re backed up elsewhere.

Yikes! Once your device is labeled as ‘unavailable,’ Apple focuses heavily on your privacy and limits access. You’ll generally have to wipe it and restore from a backup, but since you don’t have one, it’s a tough spot. Just a reminder, though, it’s essential to regularly back up your devices to avoid these heartaches in the future!

If your iPad says it's 'unavailable' and doesn’t provide a wait time for you to try the password again, your options get limited. Without a backup, it’s tough because you might have to wipe the device entirely. However, check if you have anything stored in your iCloud account online. If not, you might have to accept that you could lose your photos. Also, don't lose hope; some of those images might be on your phone too, if you synced them before.

But it says 'unavailable' now, and I can't enter anything at all. Isn’t there any way around that?
