I'm building a new PC using spare parts from old ones and salvaged an Intel 3168NGW Wi-Fi card from a laptop. The card has an A/E key connector, but my MSI Z390-A Pro motherboard only has a CNVI slot. While the card fits in the slot, I'm not seeing any Wi-Fi options when I boot up the PC. Is there a way to make this card functional on my motherboard?

Your MSI motherboard only supports CNVI modules, which is a bummer. You'll need a different Wi-Fi card like the 9560NGW that’s compatible. Alternatively, you could consider using a PCIe to M.2 Wi-Fi adapter, which you can find on eBay or Amazon.
Haha, your comment cracked me up! But seriously, good luck figuring this out. It sounds like a fun challenge!
