How can I identify my PC’s performance bottleneck?

I'm trying to figure out what might be causing the performance issues on my PC. While it handles current titles like Cyberpunk decently, the experience isn't consistently smooth. My main goal is to achieve 60 FPS at 1080p on high settings, with some potential for 1440p as well.

Here are my specs:

**CPU:** Ryzen 5600G at 3.9GHz, no overclocking

**GPU:** RX 7600XT with 16GB

**Motherboard:** ASUS PRIME A320M-K (suspected main culprit)

**Memory:** DDR4 16GB dual-channel at 2133MHz (also a possible issue)

**Storage:** M2 SSD

Thanks for any insights or additional information you might need!

You might want to consider upgrading your CPU, especially to a standard Ryzen 5600. Also, your motherboard could be limiting performance—switching to a B550 would enable PCIe 4.0 for your GPU and allow for better CPU performance. Don't forget to check your RAM settings in the BIOS; enabling the XMP or DOCP profile could give you an instant performance boost if your RAM is rated for higher speeds.

Increasing your RAM could make a difference! 16GB is decent, but consider bumping it up if you're running demanding applications or multiple programs at once. It might not be the only issue, but it could help alleviate some performance holds.

Honestly, I’d suggest focusing on the CPU and RAM upgrades. The motherboard should be okay for your current setup since it's supporting your hardware, but the 5600G and slower RAM might be where the issues lie.

It sounds like CPU and RAM are your main bottlenecks. Upgrading those can help smooth out performance across games like Fallout 76 too. Also, keep in mind that different games will stress your PC differently, so let’s not forget about performance monitoring to see what's really holding you back.
