I'm reinstalling my graphics driver and need to know which GPU my laptop uses so I can download the correct full AMD driver package. The laptop is an Acer Aspire Lite 15, model AL15-42P, but I'm unsure which graphics hardware is installed. I'm also hesitant to use AMD's automatic detection tool because a tutorial I'm following specifically warns against it.

The Aspire Lite 15 name covers several different configurations, so the exact model matters. For the AL15-42P, check Windows Device Manager under Display adapters. You can also open the adapter’s Properties, go to Details, select Hardware Ids, and search the longest ID to identify the exact GPU. Acer’s support page can also list the original drivers when you search using the laptop’s full model or serial number.
You can identify it without installing anything by pressing Win+R, entering dxdiag, and opening the Display or Render tab. It will show the graphics adapter name and driver details. Device Manager is another option, although Windows may display a generic name if the driver is missing. Since this laptop model has multiple configurations, avoid downloading a driver based only on “Aspire Lite 15.”
