I'm putting together my first gaming PC and I'd like to keep the total around $2,000. Here's the parts list I'm considering: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jWdvqd. Are there any components I should replace or ways I could get better performance for the money?

The biggest issue is the new RTX 3070 Ti. It’s poor value at current prices and makes the build perform more like a much cheaper system. You could save money or get substantially better performance by choosing a newer graphics card instead. There may also be a few smaller savings on the other components, but the GPU is where most of the budget improvement is.
A balanced alternative would be a Core i5-14600K with 32GB of DDR4 memory and an RX 9070 XT. That kind of setup can come in around $1,500, leaving room in the $2,000 budget for storage, cooling, or other upgrades.
An RX 9070 or RX 9070 XT would be a much better option if you can find one for roughly the same price as the 3070 Ti. They offer newer hardware and significantly stronger performance for a modern gaming build.
