How Can I Install Games on a Slower SSD and Run Them on a Faster One?

I have two internal SSDs that are much faster and an external 3TB SSD I'm using for storage. I'm trying to install my games on the 3TB SSD but would like to run them from the internal SSDs. However, whenever I launch a game from the 3TB drive, its usage shoots up to 100%, causing crashes or loading issues. Can anyone offer guidance on how to set this up properly?

To make your games run from the internal SSDs, you'll have to install them on those drives instead of the external one. Think of it this way: if you want to play ball, you don't just leave it in the room and expect to play outside—you bring it to the court.

It sounds like there's a misunderstanding about how drives work. If your game files are on the external SSD, they can only run from there. You need to install the games directly onto your internal SSDs to take advantage of their speed.

Just a thought: it could be that your 3TB drive is having issues. Make sure it's in good condition and not just a source of constant problems.
