How can I install Linux on my ARM laptop with a Snapdragon X chip?

I'm new to cybersecurity and I've recently bought an ARM laptop with a Snapdragon X chip, which cost me quite a bit. I really need to install Linux for my work since it's essential. However, I've heard that Linux only works on specific Snapdragon X elite laptops. Can anyone share their experience or guide me on how to install Linux on my ARM laptop? I'm on a tight budget and can't afford to buy a different laptop right now, so I need to make this work!

24.10 is actually end-of-life, so it might be better to look for a supported version or another distro that is compatible with your Snapdragon X chip. Make sure to check that before you try installing anything!

Have you done any online searches for installation guides? I found a couple of Linux distros that work on ARM systems. I actually watched a YouTube video where someone installed Linux on an ARM laptop with a Snapdragon chip—and they even got help from a Linux kernel engineer! It’s definitely doable!
