Hey everyone! I'm dealing with some serious heat issues in my small room where my PC is. I have an Intel 13700KF and an RTX 4090 inside a Lian Li O11 Razer case, and despite repasting the CPU with a higher-end thermal paste a few weeks back, I'm still hitting temperatures up to 100°C. I've also found that I can't undervolt the CPU using the Intel software since it's locked out. I'm looking for any tips or options to bring these temperatures down. Thanks! Here are my specs: DDR5 32GB 5800MHz, Corsair H150i Elite AIO cooler, and an ASUS Z690 motherboard.

First off, check your cooler. If it's not seated properly or is low-grade for your CPU, that could be a problem. Make sure it's installed right and making good contact with the CPU die. It's really important!
It sounds like your motherboard might be pushing high voltage by default. You should really dig into the BIOS and adjust those settings. Reducing voltage and wattage could significantly drop those temps. I managed to bring my own CPU down from 100°C by adjusting similar settings on my board.

If you're on a Z-series motherboard, undervolting should still be possible. Just ensure you go into the BIOS for full control. Some software options may have limitations. I was able to lower my temps significantly by tweaking these settings manually.

Also, consider removing the case side panel while testing. It can help relieve some of that built-up heat. Just make sure to monitor your components and keep an eye on dust!
Additionally, have you thought about improving airflow in your room? Try running a fan to push hot air outside; that can really help lower the overall temperature. It's all about getting that heat out of your space!

I've edited my specs to include the cooler now. I suspect room temperature has been the main issue.
