Hey everyone! My computer's performance is incredibly sluggish, and I'm thinking about moving my Windows 11 user folder (which is about 67.3 GB) to a 1 TB SSD that I have connected to my laptop. I hope this will speed things up a bit! Any advice on how to do this safely?

If your operating system is on a hard drive, moving just the user folder to the SSD might not make a big difference. Instead, I recommend installing the entire OS on the SSD. That way, you'll really notice a boost in performance, not just from moving the user folder!
Before you start moving files around, it's really important to back up your data. Changing your system BIOS or disk setup could lead to data loss, so make sure you have copies of your important files first! This way, you're safe no matter what happens.
