I'm working with a 2014 Fujitsu laptop that has integrated graphics and just 2 GB of RAM. While I can manage to play League of Legends at around 40 frames per second, I experience severe drops to 10 FPS during team fights when multiple spells are being cast. I'm looking for ways to optimize my laptop specifically for League of Legends. Would installing some software or maybe a new operating system help?

To give you the best advice, it would help to know more about your laptop specs. Also, have you considered getting an SSD instead of sticking with the HDD? It can significantly improve load times and overall performance!
When League of Legends was lighter, you could manage on older setups, but now it's more demanding. If you're set on making it work, check out forums like lowendgaming for specific tweaks and advice on optimizing your setup!
Thanks, I’ll definitely check that out. Someone mentioned creating virtual RAM from my HDD too, does that actually work?
If you're only looking to play League of Legends, why not just use your smartphone? It's not the same as playing on a laptop, but it's a good alternative for a quick game!
I tried the mobile version, but it just doesn't compare – the controls and graphics are pretty disappointing.
Upgrading to 8 GB of RAM could make a noticeable difference in your performance, especially for gaming. If you haven't done that yet, consider it!
I get that you're trying to save money on an old laptop, but even a small upgrade might really help you out!

I appreciate the advice! I'm sticking with the current setup for now because I'm hoping to find a way to get League running without upgrades.
