I'm looking for a way to play pre-recorded voice messages or guitar recordings over my microphone while I'm in a voice call. Is there a method to do this, possibly with a button to trigger the sounds? I hope that makes sense!

Have you thought about using something like Winamp? I know it sounds a bit outdated, but it has some quirky features that might help in this setup.

You can use a soundboard feature in apps like Discord, but it might be trickier to get pre-recorded sounds to come through your mic input in other software. Definitely worth exploring though!

Thanks for the quick reply! Just to clarify, I actually use various software that require a mic. I'm interested in something that works across platforms.

Voice Meeter might be your answer! It lets you combine different inputs into one output, which could help you play sounds through your mic. It should meet your needs pretty well.
