How can I port forward to a PC connected through another PC?

I have a setup where one PC shares its internet connection with another PC via Ethernet. I'm trying to run some servers, like Minecraft, on the second PC, but I'm not sure how to port forward since it doesn't appear on my router. Can anyone guide me on how to do this?

I wouldn't recommend your current setup. Internet Connection Sharing seems a bit outdated, and I'd advise connecting both PCs directly to a router. You can handle port forwarding right there, which would simplify things!

Honestly, I'm puzzled as to why you have your computers set up like that. If they can both connect directly to your router, that would be much easier. Also, if one of them is a virtual machine, it should still have an IP address that you can port forward to.

I'm with you on that! Just connect them to a proper network setup. If both are on the same router, you might not even need to do any port forwarding at all!
