I'm trying to find a way to get rid of the AI tools showing up in the Windows 11 search bar. My friend has a different setup where he has a "word of the day" widget instead of those AI tools. Is there a way to uninstall or hide those AI tools from my search bar?

I noticed that some devices have a logo showing they support NPU and Copilot++ features. If your netbook has those logos, it might be locking you into those features. You could check your system settings to see if you can disable them from there.
You can easily unpin the AI tools from the search bar if that's enough for you. But the best option right now is to go to Control Panel and uninstall the AI tools completely. Just be aware that you might need to tweak some registry settings in the future if they end up coming back.
